Roland DG Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of commercial inkjet printers, will begin global sales of its new Direct To Film (DTF) transfer printer, the TY-300, today. The TY-300 was first released in Japan on September 25, 2024.
DTF transfer printers are a solution that can be used to create original T-shirts, sportswear, etc., by simply applying hot melt powder and melting it with heat after printing onto a special film, then placing the film on top of the fabric and heat pressing it. They can easily decorate with complex designs, and are currently attracting a lot of attention in the market because they can transfer onto a wide range of materials, including cotton, polyester, cotton-polyester, denim, nylon, and rayon, and can be used to transfer onto both dark and light colored materials.
The TY-300 was born as a new standard model for DTF transfer printers, combining the rich color and detailed image quality required for the apparel business with high productivity and cost performance.
We will continue to contribute to improving the efficiency and realizing high added value in the apparel business through the DTF transfer printer TY-300.
