At the heart of Roland DG’s medical solutions is the MDX series milling machine . In addition to prototyping and manufacturing a wide variety of medical devices and components, MDX produces custom dental bridges and crowns, as well as medical implants, all of which are FDA approved materials. Direct part marking

To help medical professionals monitor the use of surgical instruments and other devices during their life cycle, Roland DG has introduced the MPX-95M , a direct, compact and convenient part marking device that makes it easier than ever to mark instruments and surgical instruments with unique device identification numbers (UDI). MPX-95M from Roland DG, uses a proven micro-percussion direct part marking technology to print permanent two-dimensional DataMatrix barcodes directly on devices, as well as text, graphics, logos and other customization elements. With the MPX-95M, it is possible to label surgical steel, titanium, aluminum, plastic and acrylic with large amounts of data, all in a compact GS1 barcode format of one square millimeter.
