Automatic Disc Changer

Load the six material adapters with different shades of zirconia or any combination of material discs to suit your needs. Assign them with milling jobs and let the automatic disc changer do the rest.The adapter system enables multi-device adapter integration. The same material adapters can be milled on both the DWX-52DCi and DWX-52D for a convenient and scalable milling solution.


Automatic Tool Changer(ATC)

Load the 15-station ATC with a variety of diamond coated, carbide and DGSHAPE by Roland hybrid tools to continuously mill jobs in different materials and multiple shades of zirconia without stopping production.

Intelligent Tool Control

A feature of the simplified VPanel operation is an Intelligent Tool Control (ITC) function that instinctively swaps out tools directly from their position when they have reached their user-defined lifespan with a designated “partner tool” without needing to pause production. The ITC has been updated for the DWX-52D to allow for user-defined setup– users can now assign burs in any figuration they want in the Automatic Tool Changer (ATC).

Precision 5-Axis Milling

A smooth and steady ball screw-driven system offers exceptionally precise results.The DWX-52DCi simultaneously rotates and tilts discs for deep undercuts and milling large arch applications and other full-mouth restorations with ease.

Automatic Air Pressure Control

An automated regulator eliminates the need for manual air control adjustments by changing air volume based on material data via the CAM software.

Dust Collector

A dust collector to collect milling dust is necessary for this machine. You need to prepare a dust collector separately.

Provide a dust corrector that meets the following conditions.

  • Static pressure: 4 kPa or more

  • Air quantity: 2 m3/min or more

Use the supplied dust collection hose. You should clean the dust collector regularly.

Compressed Air Supply Source (Compressor)

Compressed air is necessary for this machine. You need to prepare a compressor separately. You also need to prepare an air hose to connect the compressor with the regulator in addition.

Provide a compressor that meets the following conditions.

  • Control pressure: Between 0.3 and 1.0 MPa
  • Air capacity: 30 L/min or more (for one machine)
  • Oil-free type (To prevent contamination of the compressed air by foreign material.)
  • Dryer-equipped (To prevent moist air that can cause rust.)
The air hose (1) connects the compressor to the regulator.
The air hose must meet the following conditions.
